Cetaphil Baby Wash

Cetaphil has a new baby line and I am loving it! My favorite is their Gentle Wash and Shampoo. The description says “tear free, soap free, hypoallergenic, and PH balanced”. As I started using the product, I fell in love with it! I love its baby scent that keeps my child fresh all day. The scent stays even after a bath. It effectively cleanses my son’s hair and body plus it doesn’t dry his skin at all!

PROs

  • mild and gentle
  • lovely scent
  • retains skin moisture
  • packaging makes it easy to hold

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser has been the most recommended brand for sensitive skin. It has a mild, non-irritating formula for all skin types. It claims to preserve your skin’s natural protective oils while moisturizing it.

I remembered what my allergologist said, “Remember that the more your soap lathers up, the more it strips off your skin’s moisture’. He didn’t actually recommend Cetaphil to me but a bar of an oatmeal soap. However, oatmeal soap is not readily available in the supermarket so I opt to buy Cetaphil instead.

Its texture is the same as my moisturizer and it never lathers up when you use it. It’s fragrance-free and is indeed mild and perfect for my sensitive skin. It can be easily applied to your body and you can feel it’s moisturizing effect.

It rinses easily, you can even wipe it with a cloth instead of water! However, it doesn’t remove makeups like any cleansers do. Sometimes, I don’t even feel cleansed at all. LOL

PROs

  • mild and gentle
  • non-comedogenic
  • retains skin moisture

CONs

  • doesn’t remove makeup that much
